Without being able to read the legends on this coin I can tell you it looks like a Chinese (or Chinese provincial) Cash Coin. I have one with the same designs but reads in English "20 Cash" on one side.
Bit of a guess, but I'll throw my 2 cents in. Either a 10 or 20 cash coin (can't read yours) of the Republic of China (no date, but minted ca. 1920)
I am pretty sure its ten cash. You can just make out cash and barely make out what appears to be ten. And the wheat design was only on the ten cash.
That's what I was thinking (from looking as Krause), but then I saw a "20 cash coin of Hunan Province minted in 1919" on this site that has a pretty much identical design so I figured I better throw 20 in on my guess too... http://www.kenelks.co.uk/chinese/chineserepublic.htm
Thanks for that little tidbit. I still think it is a ten cash. I will have to look a little more on the twenty cash. I see now under Hunan Provience, KM#400.x there is a 20 cash with the same design. But to solve all this what is the diametre of the coin?
