    Following Government policy in force at that time the series date indicated the year in which the face design of the note was adopted.
    The capital letters following the series year indicates that a minor change was authorized in a particular series.
    There were three more signature changes for the 1928 Series.
    At that time those were considered minor changes.
    Two were the Secretary of the Treasury and the other was the Treasurer of the United States.

    The poor appearance of my 1928-E is because it has a rather high catalog value.
    I went with what I could afford without breaking the bank.

    Next, on to the 1934 and 1935 Series.
