In the same auction I spent less than I expected on the 1895-S Morgan do I bought this lot of silver coinage. It contained 43 Roosevelt Dimes, 2 1964-D Quarters, a 1932 Washington Quarter and 2 1921 Morgan Dollars. I paid a little under spot price even after adding the cost of postage so I’m pleased.

So? What was the total damage? How do you calculate spot price?

Spot is just over $30 an ounce take the weight of each coin, add them altogether and divide by the price paid. I paid a little over $27.50 per ounce so just under spot price.

Did you consider that they are not pure silver?
