    Hi All,

I read in many posts here on the forum how some like to collect certain coins and certain date ranges.

Well I am now on my first affordable pursuit and for me its the 1946 - 1964 Roosevelt Dimes in proof condition. This started because I won this particular one in an auction on e-bay and when I got it I just completely was drawn to it.

I have currently have the 1960, 1963 and 1964. And Im in the process of getting the 1961 and 1959. It won't be a quick completion for the set due to funds BUT if I did get it all fast it would spoil the enjoyment of receiving them and the excitement of completing it.

They didn't make any proof sets 1943-1949 FYI...

Thank you for the Information. I just looked at the 1946 - 1949 time frame and they have at least the BU Gem roosies. They will have to do to fill this 4 year gap.

Congrats on deciding on the Roosevelt Dimes. They were my first series I did by myself (no Grandpa to help) so they'll always hold a special place. Good luck in the hunt!!

Heh, you won that from another great board member BTW - dmott88. PM him and see if he has others, he usually has quite a good collection of fabulous coins for sale.

I'm most likely going to start a dime series at some point as well, lots of nice examples out there. Good luck!
