i guess the 20th century type set has been discontinued from whitman . jp only has the 20th/21st century one. they ordered a new supply and thats what they recieved. they didnt even relize it was different the website will be changed to reflect this this week Im not sure if the price will change I GOT MINE FOR $17.55 ( got it cheaper then this with a coupon code)

i think this 20th/21st century type set albume is a good ideal. Hopefully they also start selling pages for it.

when i recieve mine ill let you guys know what holes it has

    ------------

    REVIEW

The materiel's its made out of remind me of the cardboard folders and seems fragile. Unlike my littleton wheat pennies and mercury dime albums. The plastic inserts are very flimsy. And it does not seem the holes are deep enough not to be touched by the inserts. I haven't tried putting coins in it yet. I just opened it.

Theres even a tear on the quarter dollar page right by the thumb notch in the blue almost paper thin covering of the page.

I also wish there were more holes. The silver bicentennial set is not included just the normal clad version the 2009 penny only has one hole along with the westward journey nickles.Theres no vdb hole or a v nickle hole for no cents ect

Im not sure if all Whitman albums are like this or not. This album is not worth almost $20. $10 would have been a better price in my option I hope littleton comes out with a 20th and 21st century album. I should have just went for the littleton 20th century type album. i choise this one because it included the 21st century and those holes would be easier for me to obtain in a higher grade right now.

Now for the list of what goes in each hole

Well here is a update. I went ahead and put coins in it because jp's corner has yet to reply to me about the tear on the inside. The wholes are actually a little bigger then coins. which makes insertion very easy with barely any pressure. The problem is if you don't get the coin right in the middle. They seem to turn in the hole with slight movement on some of the coins.Ive only seen this happen in the barber dime hole once. Over all i think This album is growing on me. I wouldn't recommend it to some one with very high value coins.

I would recommend this album to some one who is just starting a basic 20th century type set. Its a good starter album for some one who doesn't have alot of money but wants a 20th century type set thats easy to complete.

The added 21st century is a great ideal as well. It allows some one with little funds to complete atleast half a album with very nice looking uncirculated coins With out spending a fortune.
