Only got one coin but it is plenty good for my collection.

Now if I could only learn to take better pictures.

    Agreed (possibly).
But I think the direction of my lighting is just as possibly at fault.

Was the show crowed? Some coins are just impossible to capture the in hand look.

How were prices at the show? Just wondering about the hobby and direction it's going.

I am recently noticing a lot more classic commemorative coins in auctions, and the prices are fairly reasonable.

    Good crowd but not cramped.
The next show will be the summer show which is normally lightly attended.

Fantastic coin! If you’re only going to buy one coin at a show, this is the way to do it!

    Prices were scattered.
    Some good, some high.
The Early Commemoratives I looked at were a bit higher than I was willing to pay.
But the coin I bought was just a touch over Greysheet, but I got it from a dealer I tend to visit often.
That may have affected the price I paid.

I view the the 1794, Head of '94 cents to be quite elegant looking coins, given that they were worth just a cent.

One of my problems is that I bury my head so deeply in working on the variety that I forget to enjoy the coin.

I wish that I could go to shows. The only one that was close, was about a week ago. Due to weekend obligations, I was unable to attend. I usually have to buy from the internet and then its a toss up of the quality of my purchase.
I live in a rural North Carolina town. My question is... are there any sellers on the internet that cater to collectors that are unable to attend a show? I hesitate to purchase from television sellers. I bought a couple of items over the internet (not ebay or Mike) just to see what is out there. Thanks for any help.
