I haven't been on Cointalk in a long time, but figured it would be a good place to share my story.

I live in Michigan, and for Mother's Day my dad, brother, myself, and my sister and her boyfriend took my mom up to St. Ignace for the weekend. By the way, if you ever visit Michigan, go to Mackinac, which is right before the Mackinac bridge that takes you to St. Ignace. Anyway, while we were up there my sister had been talking about going to the casino to see if we could win some money. I had never been to a casino before, being only 19 (20 in July, Woohoo!) So of course I wanted to go. Well we gave a bunch of different slot machines a try and didn't like any as much as the nickel operated ones. We sat at the machines for a couple hours. It seemed like every time I was down to my last nickel I win something and kept going. I won my money back several times, but kept going. It was just to much fun. All of a sudden my sister's boyfriend grabbed me by the arm as told me to look at his machine. He had hit a mini jackpot, which was like $30, and the machine just started pouring out nickels. My nickel collection came into mind and I asked him if I could go through them before he took em to the cashier. I ended up filling up a whole page in my album with nickels he had won. To me, the best ones were the new buffalo nickels from a few years ago. I kept all those that he had.

In short, I'm pretty sure I'm addicted now. I plan on going back to that casino to play some of the penny slots, quarter slots, and dime slots, to see if I cant get some more coins for my collection while having a good time at the same time.

Thanks for reading my little story.

    dsmith23 Gotta get 'em all

Me and my wife took our honeymoon on Mackinac Island, stayed at the grand hotel, and we also went gambling at the St. Ignace casino, we make it a yearly vacation now.

Thats where I was at. Our hotel room had a balcony and from it we could see the island and had a perfect view of the Grand Hotel, plus it was a 3 minute drive to the casino.
