My Newest Bank Find

You gotta love working at the bank. Today, this came in and I had to have it. Its not rare, and its a little circulated (and does have a stain on it)...but its the first one I have seen in person. So, I had to grab it and I had to share it with you guys.

way cool makes me want to go to the bank and see if I can buy a few just to be the first one at work to have some.

 

This is the ONLY one I have seen, but they are out there. I didn't think I'd see one for a month or more.

 

I just saw one yesterday (Sunday) being spent.

 

that eagle has got to be one of the very best i have ever seen! I know it is very similar if not exactly like the one on Kennedy halfs and other coins, but this is on a note.... Very cool IMHO!

I just ordered the uncut sheets from the BEP (NY-FRB) as usual..LOL

Yeah i got a sheet too....was going to buy one on ebay till i realized that he was 65 higher than bep.....lol That was a close one:kewl:

 

did you order the tube or the folder i ordered as well . i went and got $100 worthon top of that . its a mistake

 

the 32, figured might as well. I had some money laying around from the 1053 kennedys i sold , so i figured what the he !!

 

i hope you bought the scissors too we will need to cut those at some point

 

Aiming for that grade of 70PPQ (or whatever the TPG's label a perfect note)??

 

Can you get a sheet of uncut bills graded, or would you have to cut them????????and a better questions is should you cut them? and wouldnt someone know that you cut them?

 

You can make some nice "errors" when you cut them. :mouth:

 

Man, these newer notes actually look pretty nice! I'll have to keep my eyes peeled. :kewl:

I picked up two, with consecutive serial numbers, at my bank today(that was all they had). The large purple "5" on the reverse gets your attention.

 

I got 20 consec...should i keep them or spend them.????hummm

When I order the uncut sheets it is usually the 32 note sheet. Some cases I order the 4 note informational folder. The 2004 $20's was a 4 note sheet with that special 3 digit star!! I got lucky on that one!!

i grabbed 10 conc the other day from work. we only got a small amount this shipment. i am waiting to get more in to look for some stars. i too ordered an uncut sheet from the bep, just went with the 4 note one. cant wait to get that

 

What is a 3 digit star?
