First off I apologise for the terrible photos Here are a few things I picked up yesterday and today, I thought someone might be interested. There's a little bit of everything, U.S., world, paper... The world coins are just stacked up by country, there are a few really pleasing things in there, my favs are probably the two large ones toward the left, a 1940 canadian half dollar and a 1938 French 20 franc. Within the world stuff there's about 2 1/2 oz of silver. In total I paid a little under $125 for everything pictured. I think I got a really good deal, what do you say? Any questions?
I was thinking that with those two notes I could start a collection of "notes that feature men with a mustache"
fair deal yes, but take a CLOSE look at the Franklin Halves, what do you see? I posted thread/pics last week some rolls coins I stole at auction for $180, usually coins are way to high at estate sells... but happen to see coins in gun case with hunting supplies and bought the whole lot of stuff. somewhere down the thread my post titled "sorry, i stole some coins" You did OK, have seen IHC priced/selling $4/$7 dollars each 4 common date VG-F ...Good Finds, do take a look at the Franklin Half and tell me what you see? OT
OT I'm looking forward to an update as to what was in the rest of those rolls! I see a rim ding on the 52D, I guess I'm being a little slow but what am I missing? I paid $6 each for the halves which is melt, most of those IHCs are better dates in the $15 - $25 value range...
I like that pre-independence Mozambique note, haven't seen one before. And its always great to get some early IHC's.
