Had to have it. I collect encased Lincolns as well, thought this was cool: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280232732966
Why did you buy that? It says that it is no longer lucky. Now if it still had some luck with it, it might be worth it.
I cannot believe they slab this garbage. I got a 1955 cent in a box search earlier this year that had been so encased in one of those lucky things.
Nice coin! Shame that it's bent, looks gorgeous from what I can tell by the pics. At first I thought the grading company was "BENT", and that's why you bought it. Nice buy! :thumb: Phoenix
Yeah, it's a junker, but goes into my wierd box of stuff. Everybody does not have a " wierd box " ??:smile
Funny stuff. A few years ago I was on another site reading threads about TPGs. One guy posted a picture of a coin submitted to ANACS. I think it was a Kennedy half. Anyway, he had mutilated the coin before submitting it and sent it in to see if they would in fact grade it. They did. It came back AG-3. The description read, "bent, scratched, drilled, cleaned."
C'mon Hontonai, how often can you add something unique and cool to your collection for less than the cost of a gallon of gas?
