Just got this off of yahoo, from the best seller I have ever met online, name will be given upon request in pm only. It's got lots of mint luster left all over it, there is a little bit of grime inbetween the letters, that i'm going to try and take care of as soon as my dealer gets off vacation. And there is something weird on this one, on the reverse, on the Last S in States, int he top portion of the S, it is filled in, I mean, not a filled die to where the letter is into the surface, but, more like metal coming up, you might see it on the pic.
Any suggests as to if I should try and take care of it myself? or if there is a method I should use, it's not carbon, it's just built up... dirt.

Seriously, if you want to remove the build up, take a small needle and try to remove the dirt without touching the coin. Stop by your local coin shop and pick up a cleaner called MS-70. It is the best for small jobs such as this.
Jewelry stores use sonic waves in water to clean grime out of rings. Maybe something like that would work without harming the surface of the coin.
Best suggestion : Leave it alone, a messed up cleaning job can and will affect the value, a little dirt does not !!!
Do you all really think I was going to CLEAN my coin???? No, I just wanted a small amount of grime gone from inbetween a couple of letters, which I have already removed early this morning. I'm into making sure that a coin does not potentially become damaged over time, and this was something I had to do.
