consists of 2 coins. I decided I wanted a PL one and a toned one. No special dates (although one is a CC) I just wanted the right "look." So here they are, and I'm done with the series.
By the way, cpm9ball can tell you that I only own one Morgan and I believe he thinks it is overgraded by a point or two.
Strangely enough, both of those came from Jeremy's (Airplanenut's) eBay site in separate auctions. They just sort of glommed onto me.
Well, I can tell you this. Tom has a great eye for coins, and he is very knowledgeable. So, if he likes it, it must be okay. Tom's only shortcoming is that he doesn't like Maryalnd-style crabs. Chris
Is it the spice, or having to bust them up with the little wooden hammer and nutcrackers? (The rev. of the 1896 sort of reminds me of Old Bay)
Tom wasn't kidding about the time we both visited our friend and fellow collector on the east bank of the Chesapeake. Tom came from "up north" and I came from "down south". I'm originally from Maryland, and we had a summer home on the Easten Shore. Bob and Barb prepared Maryland-style crabs just for me, and Tom cringed at the thought of those beady little eyes staring at him and then cracking them open. Not only did he request a steak, but he sat at a separate table. Chris
Tooooooo funny!! Crab pickin'..... it's not for everybody! (Lehigh-- I love the reverse on that Morgan-- very HOT!)
