Believe it or not I still like Two Cent Pieces. Picked these up in the past couple of weeks. Nice-looking coins. I like the designs of the Liberian coin. (Did you know Liberia is the only country - other than the US -whose capital city is named after a US President? Monrovia is named for James Monroe.)

Wonderful coins. The first might have been cleaned gently and the second is kind of funny because I don't think African Elephants take to being domesticated too much My guess was they threw a nod to Connie Mack and Jimmy Foxx Ruben
Nope, it came in with a bunch of other World coins that I've been sorting through at work. I know someone that collects coins with animals so I set aside the 1 cent piece for her. Then I ran across 2 of the Two Cent Pieces. Seeing that I AM a Two Cent (U.S.) junkie why not add a Liberian to the collection. Value of the Liberian coins is next to nothing. Coolness factor - really high IMHO.
Very nice, I love the US 2 cent piece...for some reason, I have always thought those are really cool. The Liberian coin is sweet too...I have never seen one of those before. :thumb:
Nice coins. I got to see a proof 2 cent today - well along with a bunch of other proof coins. It was a beauty.
