Coming to the end of my Capped Bust Quarters/Reduced Size die variety set.
A complete set is 36 coins.
For me these are numbers 30, 31 and 32.
Not the prettiest ones you'll ever see but they are filling holes.

Numbers 33 and 34 are out for grading and attribution.
If I'm REALLY lucky I might find number 35.
Number 36 will essentially be impossible (only 3 known).

Quite a labor of love, I bet. That's some dedication. Well done!

    doug444 STAMPS and POSTCARDS too!

Isn't there a fee-based service that monitors hundreds if not thousands of auctions, globally, and reports back on coins the registrant is looking for? If so, you might find varieties in European or Asian auctions where no one's ever heard of the Browning book? I don't know the name or any details.

    Really nice quarters! Just curious, is #35 1831 B-7 or 1836 B-5?

Nice set, I like the 1831. Good luck on the others.

    Number 35 is the 1836 B-5.
The 1831 B-7 is number 34 and is out for grading and attribution right now.
It'll come back DETAILS but at least I'll have a coin with the attribution.

Ah okay. I've always kept an eye out on eBay for either of these unattributed but so far to no avail.

Beautiful, beautiful coins. I have been looking around at Bust Quarters for my CAPS album (1800 Type Set). They get pricey fast, haha. But totally worth it!

    There's quite a price difference between the Capped Bust Quarters/ Type 1 (1815-1828) and the /Type 2 (1831-1838).
And the Draped Bust Quarters/Small Eagle Reverse (1796) and the /Heraldic Eagle Reverse (1804-1807) are considerably higher priced.
Note that I restricted myself to the Type 2 varieties.

But for my type set I have a Draped Bust Quarters/Heraldic Eagle Reverse (1804-1807) and a Capped Bust Quarters/ Type 1 (1815-1828).
But the Draped Bust Quarters/Small Eagle Reverse (1796) is out of my price range.
