My latest ancient purchases, I went Roman this time

    Went to the monthly Indianapolis coin show today and met up with my ancients dealer. I didn’t find any Greek specimens that I liked. He pointed out a box of Roman coins he acquired recently so I looked through and picked these out. The ancients are bring me into a new area I never thought I would ever collect. Sorry for the blurry photos.

    The dealer is great at pointing out the great history of each coin. It’s hard to get much time with him at the shows, his table is alway full. Luckily we are in the same coin club.

    Lovely! I'm a big fan of the Antonine Dynasty and its coinage.
