That will turn out to be a cool collection. It is great to see your enthusiasm, and I am sure you will enjoy the pursuit. Are you considering any specific grade? You can always start with the grades you can afford now and trade up over the years. TC
I think you are doing the right thing by concentrating on one series, unlike myself. I currently have probably five incomplete series going. I set a goal to work on one series, and end up buying everything else during my coin shop and show outings.
Makes sense. Good way to start. You can always add the other mints later if you want. Plus you start off avoiding the more expensive "CC" coins. But you'll still have a few that will cost a bit, mostly in the mid-1890's. And the 1895 doesn't count since it is proof-only (at least I don't count it).
