My friend found this in a TN lake...

    Chinese people were in North America Waaaay before Columbus or the Viqueens!

    Actually, I think this coin is from much later than 1300AD.

    Um, I think so too! I found one like it in a Nashville park and posted it on here. It was from the 1700s.

    Chinese cash. The obverse (front) reads Dao Guang tong bao, and the reverse (back, coin2) reads Boo chiowan. It was made between 1821-1850. I do believe it was made in the north branch of the Board of Revenue.

    Oooh, I wonder if it was brought over by a Chinese railroad worker?
