This is my first top pop coin I have ever owned. It is a 1915 france 1 Franc graded MS-67 by NGC in an old fatty holder. NGC population is 9 and PCGS population is 1 with none graded higher by either grading service. I mostly collect US coins and some ancients but I just loved this coin! 20231125_151004.jpg 20231125_151032.jpg 20231125_151110.jpg 20231125_151148.jpg

Very nice. I really enjoy a lot of the older French coins as well. Very nicely struck. Nice old holder too.

Great coin! It's the semuese (sower) design by Oscar Roty. He was a great French designer in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. And he was one of the pioneers in the Art Nouveau movement. The semuese design has been repeated many times on French coins and medals.

Beautiful! Not well known is that many of our early coins were based on French coins designs. Our founding fathers wanted nothing but the best to show off in pride in our early history.
