my first three hobo nickels

    well here are the first 3 hobo nickels that i have picked up. they are all by the same artist. i am pretty amazed at the detail that is put into these beauties. enjoy :thumb:


    1936 OLD MAN BUFFALO HOBO NICKEL (KIND OF LOOKS LIKE MR. MAGOO):D

    These are soooo cool, how do they carve this stuff in? And do they use a regular nickel or start from scratch? If they are from scratch, what material are they? Nice pickups!

    i believe they would use a dremel with different attachments. they do use an actual nickel and just carve away.
