My dealer dropped this off today. I'd like to get a few of these in different denominations and some from other countries.

My dealer had it in his personal collection for the last 10 years. I believe he purchased it directly from the Mint. He said he went through dozens of sheets until he found one totally free of edge flaws. To store it, he purchased an archival plastic (inert) sheet and used that instead of the one that came with it. That helped in keeping it as perfect as possible.

I'm still looking for a $1 sheet but most that I've come across have minor damage (rippling, creases, bumped corners etc.) and are priced a little too high.

Very nice indeed. What I find very cool is that the sheet consist's of 40 notes..whereas BEP sheets consist of 32 notes. Does anyone know if it is just paper size that allows for this or is the printing equip differ from what is used in the BEP?

Does Canada print their own or is it contracted out?

    Again, nice sheet!

I haven't found out why the difference between the number of bank notes per sheet between different countries.

We have the CBN - The Canadian Bank Note Company (est. 1897). In addition to paper notes, they also produce lottery tickets, postage, documents (passports) etc.

They also have a division for collectors which has intaglio vignettes for sale.

Thanks for the link.. I actually own several of the vignettes already.
The Security Engravers Group Presentation Award is modeled off the "Flower Girl".. I purchased this for this award, although on the site they let you copy the image at no cost. Fair is fair and buying a copy was the right thing to do.

The Railroad vignetts grace my office space on several walls.
