These are the first coins that I've bought (other than a couple proof sets), and they are the first coins to go in my new IS type set album. Nothing too special, but since they're my firsts I'm pretty excited. Sorry about the picture quality. The shop had the dime graded MS65 FRSB and the nickel graded MS64. Nothing on the Walker.
those 3, are probably my favorite non gold coins. i love mercurys and buffalos, and am really starting to like the looks of the walkers, i may have to get one myself!
Nice coins - good additions to your set. Like the buffalo the best - for some reason I like the subtle luster that looks in the recesses around the rim. Nice coins!

I've done business with Kennedy's and Century in N.VA., and one other small shop on Duke St. I haven't done any business with Cameo; I've heard mixed reviews. There's a shop on Lee Hwy that I plan to check out next time I'm in the area... Have you joined any clubs in the N.VA area?
I chose Cameo to start based solely on some anonymous online reviews and location. I should probably check out some other shops. Kennedy's and Century are probably only a little further away than Cameo. Do you recommend any of those shops that you've tried? Haven't joined a club, and hadn't really looked into it much yet. I saw something about one in Alexandria, but that's pretty much it.
A good number of my collection of three-cent pieces came from Century. And a lot of my Soviet and German specimens from Kennedy's. I think any most shops should be explored, and IMO experience they each have their niches of specimen categories where they have good deals. As with all shops, I'd recommend exploring them, if for nothing else, to make mental notes about what each of their strengths and weaknesses are. As for both shops, I've only bought from them. As to the shopkeepers / staff at those places IMO - it's hit or miss - their moods are never predictable... a bit mercurial actually.
