    Hello,
I sent in 6 coins about 2 weeks ago, and they arrived today!
I was shocked at the grades I received on them!

    1879-S: MS64 Cameo PL
    1879-S: MS64
    1880-S: MS63
    1880-S: MS65!!!!!! I was SHOCKED! :D

I also sent in my 1935-S San Degio Commeritive Half Dollar, I found in some Half dollars I was searching. Grade: Cleaned (UNC Detail)

What does this grade mean: Cleaned (UNC Detail)? Is this still a good grade?

I bought about 8 of each Moragn listed above: 1879-S and 1880-S at an auction. I paid $26 - $28 a piece for them?

They where worth the wait!!! The tension was great!!!! :D

It means exactly what it says. Your coin would be in uncirculated condition (MS60 or better), and worth substantially more than it is, if some fool hadn't cleaned it.

It means the coin possesses some qualities of an uncirculated example (good), but that someone cleaned it for whatever reason (bad). I always hate to see that. I'm not as bothered when it happens to a VF or an EF, but unfortunately cleaned is cleaned in the eyes of most collectors. Still, ANACS does the submitter a service by grading the coin, usually assigning it a Net or average grade, even though it has been cleaned. I for one feel more comfortable knowing what I've got if I am unable to determine for myself.
