I bought my first gold coin today from my great uncle who is a coin collector and used to be a dealer. It is a 1854 liberty head quarter eagle and is in around extremely fine condition. It is very beautiful. To me, the details are amazing for a coin that old and the only wear that i can see are some hairline scratches in the fields. I payed $185 for it and i'm very proud of it

Awesome. Can't wait to see it. I also got my first gold piece recently. It's a 1911 Indian Quarter Eagle.
