Insomnia sometimes pays off. I was perusing fleaBay in the wee hours of the morning a few weeks ago while struggling to breathe through my bought with covid. This magnificent medal came across my screen an I was immediately enthralled. As usual for me, it was a purchase before research so now I need to find out more about what I own. What I do know is that this is a commemorative for the Bicentennial of the City of Albany, NY. It has a few rim dings on it that I believe kept it with my budget. They don't really bother me that much because the overall look of this piece is otherwise fantastic. I am extremely interested in your thoughts on this medal Anyway, without further ado, on to the photos. Z 1886 200th Anniversary Commemorative medal for the City of Albany by George H. Lovett
