My first full night of coin roll searching with the kids.....

I bought a box of pennies and a roll of presidential dollars. I told the teller to just pick me a president, she got me good ol' abe. It is a roll still unopened with the pres. name on the side.

On the pennies. I haven't even gotten half way through the box, but found one 52 wheat penny. a few 09's and a 76 with weird stamps on it. a bell and i think the state of texas. My daughter found that one. A 40 canadian. Kids had a blast. That's all that really counts I guess!

I love searching threw rolls of pennies,,I nearly filled one whitman book 1941-1974 and only need three to complete with all the
1958 to 1974 in Unc condition with most of them in red BU.

 

I look forward to my future family having many times like these!

How old are your kids Corey? I can't wait until mine are old enough to do this with.

Are ages 7 and 9. And i have a new son, who is just 3 months old.

 

I have a 2 yo girl and 10 week old son myself.
