I have my first discovery piece and thought I would share it with the group
It is a 1988 D Lincoln Memorial Cent with Die trails on both the Obverse and Reverse.
Received the coin back from B.J. Neff this past weekend and it is now posted on
the Trail Dies website. Obverse is at the top of the page and the reverse is at the
    bottom of the page. http://www.traildies.com/id8.html
Original photos are at the bottom of this post.
Mr. Neffs photos are Much Much Better. My coin photography still
    leaves much to be desired.

Thank You Mr. Neff and the Die Trails Collectors for helping me with
    my first Discovery Coin

I always thought my first Discovery Piece would be an Ike:too-funny:

I never even thought to check for RDV-006
But alas it is an RDV-005 That would have been
    really cool.

Thanks for bringing that up Jello.

    Thanks for the congratulations Guys

    Jello,
From my understanding of the 88 is that the normal die for the year is the RDV-005
and the Variety ( rare one) is the RDV-006
The 005 has no serif on the bottom of the "G" which is normal for the year
and the 006 has the small serif coming off of the bottom of the "G"
in the designers initials on the reverse.
Let me know if I have this wrong, If I do then I have to go through
    all the 88's again:eek:
