my first "ancient" coin

    I mostly collect US coins,but the history behind this coin really got my interest. I say "ancient" because it's from the medieval period and can someone please clarify what years are considered "ancient". It's a 1035 - 1125 Denier NGC genuine

    I can see your hand real well, the coin, not so much. But congrats on your first ancient coin. I've been looking at them too.

    Sorry I have to use my device for taking the photo because my computer died and it only has a front facing camera. Are those coins rare or just in high demand.

    Well my earliest is from around 500 BC, that is fairly ancient.

    I tend to restrict myself from going past 600CE ( though a few cheap solidii tend to push it);)
