Hi, my names Grant, I'm a 14 year old male who is WAY into coin collecting.
I don't have much, but I talk to other collecters alot, and I'm learning alot.
I dont have pictures, but I will soon!

    At the moment I have:

    550+ Wheat pennies, 1911-1955
    34 Indian Head pennies, 1882-1905
2 Mercury Dimes, 1937 and 1929, bought today $2 each Today
2 Buffalo Nickels, 1932 and 1931, also bought $2 each Today

I only have one paper money, a 1957 Silver Certificate dollar.

Also I have lots of foreign coins, to many to name and count.

For 2 months of collecting, and buying, how does it look?

    Thanks everybody!

    Grant

you appear to be really into collecting. Not bad, find your focus and start from there, what you want to collect, then buy a book that deals with the subject.

Well I dont really know what I want to start. But Im always buying when I have the money. And today it came across my mind to look for a coin collecting or coin information forum. I googled it, and here I am! Haha, I went to buy a booklet that had 20 mercury dimes in it, one guy said its worth $13.50, but the guy selling said $30.00, so I had to pass, only had $15.00. Anyway, I dont really know where I should start, mosly just collecting random coins.

Welcome to the forum Grant.:hail: There's plenty of nice people here to help with any collecting questions you have. Do you have any coin reference books yet? The Red Book is a great book with tons of information. It's a good place to start.:smile

If you don't already have one, get yourself a Red Book and read it cover to cover.
That is a good way to find something that is both interesting and affordable in US coins.
