I have a lot of coins that i have collected and that my mother has collected, and i was curious about how much they were worth. If any one could point me in the right direction i would ber grateful. 1964 Proof set uncirculated penny - half 1971 Eisenhower Uncirculated Dollar in original package w/ cert. 1971 Eisenhower Proof Dollar in original case 1972 Proof Set in original case 1902 Indian head Penny circ. in case 1974 $20 Misprinted and Miscut uncirc. in Mint condition. i would appriciate any help Thanks, Mike
1964 PF Set with all coins is worth about $15, 1971 Unc Dollar is probably worth about $10-20 depending on condition, 1971-S PF Dollar (in case) is worth around $10-20, 1972 PF Set is worth about $7-9, 1902 Indian Cent is probably worth $2-3 depending on condition, AND no idea on the $20 bill. If you could post some pics, then that would help everyone. Sounds interesting. Hope that this helps Mike.
wow! that is one heck of a 20$ error!! not sure what it's worth, but im sure it'll bring in some good money.
The $20 error would be worth a nice bit of money----I would suggest writing Frederick Bart----www.executivecurrency.com He would be the one to email IMHO.... Speedy
According to my source that $20 printed exterior fold in CU condition is worth $2500!!!! (The Standard Catalogue fo US Paper Money) pg 186 24th ed,
That's a very dramatic error... for that blatant of an error to get out of the BEP without getting caught and destroyed is VERY rare... should be worth a very significant premium. I haven't even seen a picture of an error that dramatic, lol... wow...
I'm no paper money collector but I would guess that a paper money price guide would be like a coin price guide---Not a good thing to use....this error could be worth $2500 or maybe alot less or alot more. Untill we could find one that has sold int he same grade just like it the price really can't be given. Speedy
It's a cutting error; the missing seal and serial number on the front are probably on the back of the extra bit. A nice find, but definitely not worth $2500. More like $200. Dr. Bart is the one to ask for a more qualified opinion than mine. He'll probably even buy it. BTW, uncut sheets of $20 notes weren't available to the public when that note was issued.
ITS NOT A CUT ERROR.....its a fold error....the paper folded during emossment on the paper...and I should say that it "trends" at 2500!....and jackeen, there is a picture of the same error right in front of me. No offense....I guess I should say IMHO.
