    I also have a little over half a roll's worth of wheat pennies, as well as 8 "error" pennies.

    Colin,there's a couple of Roman coins that you should take individual photos of to get identified.You can get them hosted here; www.imageshack.us .The 1c. coin with the starfish is from the Bahamas.

    I like the blank U.S. 1c. planchet with the rim flange.

    Its the raised portion of the planchet around the edge. Blank planchets can be found either with or without this raised portion, depending on how far through the fabrication process they were taken before 'dropping out'.
