    So I have a 1999 nickle its copper and errored in other ways please would anyone know anything about it

    It looks like copper? Both sides?
    Most likely Environmental Damage. That's what happens when a Nickel is exposed to the elements. Dirt, soil, sand, water or chemicals can alter the surface of a Nickel and Clad coins also. I metal detect and have found many Nickels that look like copper.
