My brother inherited a buntch of all around european coins...Need help!?

My brother inherited a buntch of all around european coins and I tryed taking a look at them. I collect only US coins for the is total foriegn to me. :yes: Ha Ha Foriegn get it!
So, What I could tell most of the are between 1910-1945. Small coins pennies, shilling, pence... that kind of thing. What should I do to find out if they are worth anythin? Is it worth my time to research the coins?

First thing you could do to help yourself, is get a copy of the most recent Krause World Coins Catalog .
