I try to do my best at not spening all of my money at work. It's tough when you're in a coin shop. So today a guy walks in with some REAL nice type coins for sale. Boss bought them and I just LOVED this large cent! What the heck, I figure he might let me put it on layaway so I inquire about it. HE GIVES IT TO ME FOR NOTHING!!!!. I don't just sell coins for him after all. I"ve patched the roof, done some painting at his house - whatever it takes to keep getting a paycheck. Seems he really DOES appreciate it. I'm serious about this one folks. I figure it could go an EASY MS64 RED!.180 degree die rotation as well. Man am I pumped! Have a look! I OWN this baby! http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x275/clembo1872/scan0005-11.jpg http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x275/clembo1872/scan0006-11.jpg clembo

I need a job at clembo's coin shop. Patch roofs. Wax floors. I'll do ANYTHING for a LARGE CENT like that one ! :kewl: Ya don't see stuff like that every day, that's fer sure.
I remember when I was about 5-6 those things were being sold for about $2 in a local toy store in town. I really wanted one, but $2 for that was a bit of dosh back in the day. I am thinking that the owner of the toy store must have come across them a few years after they were made and thought they would sell well.
Darn - can't see the picture at work. Will have to wait until I get back home. Can't wait to see what this is.
Imagine being Mark and having to wait allllllll day to finally get to see Clembo's MS+++ Large Cent? He's going to have it on his mind all day and will probably get a speeding ticket on the way home, which will only delay getting to see it finally. :goofer: Poor Mark! Ribbit
Hrm...I will have to check but I don't think that cent will go any further than its smaller counterparts. Smaugy
