Tell me what you think. Couldn't go wrong for a dollar. That is just a hair so you know on the motto. http://www.cointalk.org/gallery/showimage.php?i=629&c=2 http://www.cointalk.org/gallery/showimage.php?i=629&goto=previous&c=2 Thanks for looking. Phoenix
I can get all of them you want at the main post office vending machines in Bellmawr NJ :secret: Put a $20 bill in and buy one .39 stamp and get some nice 1999 SBA and sac back
But can you get them that nice? Most of the ones I get are scratched or tarnished or look really bad. Thanks for replying. Phoenix
Howdy Phoenix21... No matter how common the dollar is, you should put it into a 2x2 mylar flip. The background of the image looks like a sweater or carpet material. Chemicals used in carpet cleaning/ dry cleaning can effect the metalic surface of the coin. I personally collect rolls (mint rolls) of these coins and with the proposed idea of new reverse changes to this coin every year...well you know the story there! It may not be a high value coin in our lifetime, however, pristine examples may be harder to come by sooner than later!! RickieB
IMHO you have a very nice specimen. Looks like a small line between WE TRUST. At least a MS64 maybe higher. RickieB has sound advice about preservation. Get it protected before something happens. I picked through hundreds of dollars years ago to fine nice examples as this. I only have a few but I got them for face value.
Cool thanks Rickie for the advice. When I visit my dealer I'll pick up some flips. The backround is carpet, but I just put it there for the pics. Now I'll need to pick some of these flips up. Thanks ricky and walter for the advice. Phoenix
Phoenix21 That is true I only keep the good ones that come out of the machines. Today I went to the Burlington NJ. Coin show and picked up 30 silver IKES for $5 a piece. Six 1974 blue, / five-1971 blues / four- 1973 --- Five 1971 silver proofs, / five -1972 silver proofs and Five 1974 silver proofs I think I got a nice deal
Phoenix, that is a very nice 2001P Sacagawea $1 you have got there. If you want to get any Sacagawea $1 coins dated 2002 onwards, you may have difficulty in getting them. Aidan.
Wow, that sounds like you got some nice deals there philly. Thanks Bruce, I sure will. I'm thinking on starting a Sacagewea set. Thanks Aiden. Yea, I'm probably going to have to buy them. Thanks all for replying! Phoenix

Thanks, but unfortunatley it looks like it ended. I can't wait to go to a coin show though. Are there any less than an hour away from Altoona? Thanks for the link though. Phoenix
Thanks! I don't think I will be able to make it though. Wish I could. Irony of it all is I was in Monroeville on Sat. Why couldn't it be then lol. Thanks anyway. Phoenix
