Found a first for me today. Went to the ATM to get $200 and one of the 50's was a star:eek:. A first for me. Just curious as to rarity for common dates. My son flipped out when I showed him. I appreciate any inputs and comments. And yes that is a tear on the bottom:( but for face value I was stoked. Is there much value? I don't tell with much paper so really don't know much.

that note came from the larger of the 2 print runs for stars for the chicago district(3,840,000 notes). CH CU it books for $85 in that condition you are a lot closer to face value

nice find. higher denomintaion notes are tough to move at a premium unless its in a higher grade. 50's are alos tough to keep becauseof the high face value lol
