Discussion in 'US Coins Forum' started by Iamleilanianne, Mar 20, 2019.

  1. Hi everyone... I have a 1996 P Dime that I believe is an error Because it is off center and also seems to be a double die .. I wanted to see if anyone could tell me if it is a for sure error or not... Remember... I'm new.. So please be easy on me... Lol ..Thanks!!... BTW I'm going to be asking and posting a bunch right now asking if my coins are errors...Or not...

Looks like grease filled dies on the last digits of the date cool but not valuable

As to the reverse. I don’t see off center so much as grease and completely worn out dies

I think they tried giving them one last tune before they retired them. Who the details are so flat and mushy

It is a Misaligned Die Strike.
The rest is a worn die strike.
    No Doubled Die issue seen.

    Nothing major.
