I found this 85 while roll searching. It appears to have doubling on reverse. It may be only MD, but shows signs of a double-die. Can any one help? Is there a DD for this year? I know there is a 1985 D double mintmark, but any more?:hatch:

That is machine doubling you could really tell on the left of the FG the right parts of the step.

    Yep, It's machine doubling.

Look at the O of ONE CENT in your picture. You can see the underlying part of the letter which in fact is the real shape of the letter as it should appear on the coin. If you look at that portion of the O, you can see the metal on top that gives you the appearance of doubling. It is really metal that is pushed up on to the letter O and distorts the shape of that part of the letter.

    Classic signs of machine doubling.

    Thanks,
    Bill
