Welcome to Coin Talk. I'm very skeptical but if you think so, have them authenticated and graded by PCGS, NGC, or ANACS, and post photos when you get them back. In the meantime could you please post clearer photos. Thank you.

Yes. The 1 on the right is a little fuzzy right where you need it to NOT be foggy. It almost looks like it has the curve where the vertical part meets the bottom horizontal part of the 2. But the 1 on the left is definitely a large date. The vertical part of the 2 goes straight down to meet the bottom leg. Boy wouldn't it be nice to have 2 of those though?!?

    Yes you are right..
We will be laughing at you! :hilarious:

2 Large Dates is what I see :watching:

Doubling is most likely Die Deterioration which is not a true Doubled Die variety but worthless doubling :yack:

Wait, I think I see some wheat stalks. Are you sure it wasn't struck on a 1909-SVDB. :banghead:

Okay, Foo, which is it? Fuzzy or foggy? Them is two different things, ya know.:wacky:;)

@Keith Iwan Oldin bowles - We have a strict policy around here which prevents anyone from having the "last laugh" when they can't provide a clear photo.

    Hi:)
Glad to see you back at it! It’s okay to make mistakes. That’s how we learn. It takes a lot to admit mistakes and it will make you a better person if you can learn from them.
Best to ask if you’re unsure rather than assume.
We are here to help if you’re willing to listen:)

If people spent the same amount of time on research as they do taking photographs, they would have their answers.

Yeah I've been studying the 82 for 2 years now and I know pictures are fuzzy but I can promise you they are going to get sent in I have about 20 82 date pennies and after studying the difference of the two and knowing large date from small day I can guarantee you if not one both are small dates it's because one has a little machine doubling and the other one I guarantee is a double die obverse but that's what you get working with a 8 m camera

You obviously don't know what a large date and a small date is it's okay because I thought I did for two years and now I finally got it down but guess what it's okay because I will have them laugh once I get the coins graded
