Very nice 1885cc morgan I love those Carson Citys, I got my first 1884cc a while back & I still love to look at it. Your Lincolns are also very nice coins, congrats : )
This must be the MS65 that you got from the Heritage auction. It looks great. You give me an opportunity to post my 1885 Morgan. It's not a CC.
BnB, I'm glad you like them! Collect, is that a proof? Doesn't look like a business struck '85 to me....
Mine is a Philadelphia proof. Mine had an easy life. It didn't need to travel from the CC mint in a wagon over a hundred miles of bumpy road. I think BnB's coin is pretty cool & mark-free for a Carson City piece.
Thats one of my favorite potraits of Lincoln on that commem, Its very somber, yet also very powerful. Nice coins!
Thank you all for your support.. I am holding the 1885-cc now and wow.. It's just so frosty.. Did I say that twice??? lol. But yeah it's beautiful, it truly gives me a boost of confidence to know I own something THIS beautiful ya know?
