Ok. So I'm surfing e-bay at 3 a.m. Run across this auction. I HAVE NOT been drinking. Am I missing something? 1963 Roosevelt is a KEY? Buy It Now for $3500??? $100 opening bid? Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260221855170&ssPageName=ADME:B:EF:US:1123 Unfortunately, it'll probably be over by the time most of you see this on Monday...... Oh well, you missed a deal!!!!!
Its a shame they only have one, because I need a pair. Oh well I'll just hold my 7,000 dollars for the next opportunity. NOT!!! It is funny how the coin is stillin the Littleton plastic bag....RIP OFF! They make the auction sound like this coin came from a super old estate collection that had to contain nothing but RARE coins. 1963 Roosie...price MS-60/65... melt....all day. Allen
I just emailed the seller with this. "That coin is considered "junk silver". Worth about a buck, two on a good day. VERY little research required to determine that." Gotta let these jokers know they are being watched, especially when the feedback is relatively low and pretty bad at that. Yes, I noticed the Littleton thing too. Guess that means it's slabbed.
OMG did you check out there other auctions? I've probably got 100 of these! http://cgi.ebay.com/RARE-1951-LINCO...yZ139805QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
If only the E-bay listers could say the same. :computer: Instead they say "We are not coin experts..." (that much is believable) and "we know quality when we see it" (not believable) :headbang: The good news ? Nobody bid.
As a seller you can ask for ANY price no matter how outrageous it is. It's only crazy if someone actually bids on it.
