I'm confused. I stopped at a bank today and asked if they had any rolls of half dollars. The teller said they didn't but she had about nine in her drawer, so she gave them to me and I paid her $4.50 and I put them in my pocket.

When I got home I took them out to look at them and I thought it seemed like way more than nine, so I counted them and I have 17! Either they multiplied in my pocket or that teller really screwed up.

How did you not know you had 17 at the bank? 17 halves is pretty unmistakable compared to 9.

I don't know how I didn't notice I had 17 halves. It didn't seem like that many at the time which is why it was so weird. I almost want to put them back in my pocket and see if there are even more later.
