How unfortunate. His impact won't be forgotten though, and as he suggests in this note, there will be plenty of people willing to further the work.
Just as an FYI- I know you've only been a member here for a short time so you're probably not aware of this, but once something has been posted for longer than 1 hour, the member who posted it can no longer edit that post. Members can however ask a moderator for permission to edit something after that initial time period has passed. Also, CT policy is and always has been that once something is posted, as long as it does not break the rules, it stays posted. In other words a post will not be removed or taken down even if the person who posted it ask that it be take down.
Very sad to hear. My father passed away many years ago, from Parkinson’s. My prayers go with him and his family.
I haven't been back in the hobby very long but his name is well known to me. I had a cousin die of Parkinson’s two weeks ago, very hard. My thoughts are with his loved ones.
