Here is what you missed. This years focus was POW camp money. A discussion by Ray and Steve Feller about new items for the next edition of their book on Concentration and Civilian Camps from WWII A display showing only the second set of first printing Series 701 MPC known in collectors hands The serial number 1 $10.00 US War Bond The debut of Harold Kroll's new book on German financial instruments of WWII The debut of Carlson Chambliss' new book on MPC including full-color illustrations Notes from the Bolzano Concentration Camp in Italy A presentation on Culion Leper Colony notes from WWII Joe Boling's discussion on how to identify the three different types of German notes printed from 1929-45 Notes from the WWII internment camps in the Dutch East Indies Canadian WWII POW camps In addition, there was a meeting of collectors of Japanese Invasion Money, War Bonds and Vietnam era club tokens. The Friday bourse and Sunday auction provided plenty of opportunities for buying/selling/trading. Dates for next year have not been set but I will post when they are established.
