I was going through some of my collection last night and saw this
Note and thought i would share it, The note it self is fairly common
Series 661 $1, But what makes it special is the grade 69PPQ !!

For all of you that are not up to speed on Mpc grades there is only
1 70PPQ note in the entire Mpc series! And there are very few 69
Grades, The fact of the matter they just dont come up that often
Most people hold on to the higher grades even in the common ones
Especially if there working on a registry! :) :D

was it the ever so slight off center margins that kept that beauty from a 70?

    Very nice Rusty!

The vignette on the back looks a lot like Mirror Lake and Mount Rainer on the 1934 3¢ postage stamp, only flipped...

Do you have any background on who engraved the vignette of the mountain on reverse of your note and what it depicts?
