Hey CT!:welcome: Today I invited my father to the Madison Veterans Museum so we can check out the newest addition, Operation Desert Storm and Shield (he served as a Medic in the early 90s and late late 80s around my birth), so I knew it would be cool to check that out with him one on one, which it was. There were exhibits of not only Desert Storm but of all the war's of the united states which was very neat, also free, even neater. I learned alot and got to check out the gift shop aswell, so I copped me one of these b/c I just had to have it. c: Hope you enjoy! I love wheaties!!
Wow, that's a really nice presentation for the lincoln cents/dollar! I'm a huge fan of the wheaties myself; they're my favorite to collect
Don't get me wrong I know I was just born the other day haha. So much left to live! So many more coins to hoard!!!!
Time just seems to speed up as you get older...dunno why. I love wheaties, too! Around 2005-2006, I bought up a number of rolls of Unc red wheaties on eBay...mostly from the '40s. I got some really nice quality coins for not too much $$. Every once in a while I'll open up a roll and marvel at how great these coins look in their lusterous red condition. Once they stop making cents, these coins will really go up in price (imho). Get 'em while you can!
Countless times I've heard that ^^^^ Very neat to see all the appreciation for the vet's on CT!!! I also think that once cent's are out of the picture and my cash register, that the cent's I've aquired will go up in price...but I don't collect to sell, I can only imagine how much the coins/paper money I collect now will be worth for my children/grand children when/if I have them. WHEATIES!!
The set goes into a little detail about all the coins, pretty cool!! If you love your freedom thank a vet! Thanks
