    Hey everyone,

    Just started going through my jar of foreign coins tonight and thought I would share a couple of my finds so far.

    the vatican coins are awsome. not something ive ever seen though so i cant help much with them

    moneyer12 i just love UK coins.......

    the 5 pfennig is a beaut of a coin, and the vatican ones aren't bad either.

    Thanks! I found them really interesting since I didn't know the Vatican minted their own coins before I saw these.

    Thanks moneyer12, I really liked the 5 pfennig and thought it was in really good condition for its age.

    it certainly is, the imperial coinage always looks striking with the crowned eagle, as a side did you also know the vatican have their own euros?

    I did know they had their own euros (though I've yet to find any in circulation yet) but I thought that the euro was their first true coin minting. I always thought the other vatican coins were more commemorative than actually circulating money.

    always loved that pfennig design the 1 pfennig is also beautiful but as it is copper it is often hard to get realy detailed examples
