    Most Mutilated Coin Contest 2012

    Winner will be crowned December 31, 2012 at 1pm.

    Prize: Bragging rights


    Description:

    Coins sometimes take a beating; post your picture of the most mutilated coin in your collection.

    This is a Non-Error Coin contest it is to give coins of little or no value a purpose and final resting place.

    This contest is in memory of coins that had a rough life.

    Rules:

    Must be able to make out the type of coin and date.

    Well, I guess I need to find a corroded zinclon, run it over a few times, take a sledge hammer to it, and then cut pieces of it off. That should do it!

    Hey Silentnviolent, I have seen better looking tree rings at Yosemite, CA.

    How do you know this is a 1946 dated dime ? Looks to be about three milllion years old judging by the rings. :>)

    Yeah. where's the date on that one SilentViolent? wheres the beef?

    @elijahHenry10 you can do whatever you want to it but its gotta have the actual date. "Just because the cat has her kittens in the oven doesn't make them biscuits."

    This doesn't qualify because there is no date, but I found this nickel in a coin counter reject tray.

    So what do we got here!

    A Jefferson forehead, a melted penny, a bizarre dime, 2 special quarters and a bent,cleaned & damaged. Keep em comin' the mutilation has just gotten started..
