So i cant really grade any of these or show pictures sorry i know its a total shot in the dark but are any of these coins worth much and can you give a general value without the grade? 1921 Morgan, S mint 1922 peace dollar, P Mint 1979 Susan, P mint 1980 Susan, p mint 1979 susan, D mint 1980 susan, D mint 1999 Susan, P mint I really cant grade them but any general value's are appriciated.
Susan's are just worth the dollar printed on them. Some city mass transportation facilities still use them for fare. A 1921 Morgan is fairly common and probably will only get you melt value, about $14, unless it is in MS condition. Likewise the Peace is only worth melt unless it is MS condition. If you disagree with these prices, we'll need to see photos to get a better understanding why.
I concur with Silver Surfer... Or you can look at it this way. I have a 1965 mustang and was wondering what it's worth. I can not tell you if it runs or give you a picture. Kind of hard eh?
$1,000?cash i am serious.:goofer: it will be restored(if needed) and housed in a garage with a '90 fox body and a '98 sn-95. i will eventually get every generation of mustang! not the 05-09, me no like! i love the new '11 though:kewl: back on topic: maybe try selling the sba dollars together on ebay. depending on condition you may get a premium over face if someone is putting together an sba set. or you may find one of the many people who will buy them because they think she is a fine women:rolling:
Mustangs & Coins Hunt 1, you seem like a lucky person, figure $20 each for the 21 morgan & the 22 Peace, and $1 each for the Susan B's. As for you fellow Mustang lovers I cant believe I just joined a coin forum where we love the same cars as well. Had a 67 & a 85 Mustangs, both times were the only times where I started getting tickets. Also had a 68 GTO that was monster. Plenty of tickets with that as well. Got snagged doing 150 MPH on I-95 in the goat and the trooper let me go because he liked the car. Sorry back to coins. Steve
Because we are talking about appraising coins without having the slightest idea what they look like, I'll give you $18 for the whole lot. Hunt, we've tried to give you good advice about studying and learning about the hobby, but I don't think you're listening. If you keep posting whimsical threads like this, pretty soon, nobody will bother responding. Then what will you do? Chris
That was a nannygoat! I'd take my '66 Tri-power..........Goat, Bull, Clydesdale or whatever you want to call it.........any day! Chris
NannyGoat I had a 66 too Chris, but it had no motor and I got such a great offer on the body I let it go. That was long ago before my coin collecting days. You have or had a 66 and it was sharp?
Had! Bought it brand new off the showroom floor for $2300. 389cid, 360hp, 3 - Rochester 2bbl carbs w/mechanical linkage (much better than MoPar 6-Pak w/vacuum linkage), 390 posi rear & Hurst shifter & linkage. Boy, I loved that car! Chris
Pontiac Coins That outstanding, I got my 68 used for $ 800 in 1978 with a 400CID Muncie-4 and Hurst slap shifter. It was doing fine until this elderly man tail ended me and totaled the car. Thats something you got yours off the show room floor...that would have made it an MS-70 PL. Steve
After I got out of the service in 1971, I drove a Fiat Spider to work and my wife drove the Goat because of the baby. I kept telling her that she needed to take it to the mechanic to have the carbs rebuilt, but she kept putting it off. Then one day when she was in the grocery store, an announcement came over the PA system......."Will the owner of a Pontiac GTO..........your car is on fire!" She made it outside just in time to stop the firemen from smashing the windows to keep the fire in the engine compartment from spreading. We had it towed home, and I used Naval Jelly to scrub the rust off of the hood and used primer to keep it from rusting again. It sat there for about 2 months, and one day a guy came to the door and asked if I wanted to sell it. He gave me $1,000 for it, completely refitted it and it ran low 9's at the track. Chris
What are we talking about....a car? well i lost the cable for my camera to transfer the pics from camera onto my pc chris =(.
We're just killing time until we get some photos. A cable shouldn't be that hard to replace. Have you ordered any of the books that were suggested? Chris
As far as I know, they are. Dog tracks and race tracks use them all of the time since most wagers are based on $2 bets. Chris
tAKE THE CARD OUT OF THE CAMERA TAKE THE CARD OUT OF THE CAMERA and load directly to your computer. Lets see. 1966. My main ride was a Honda 50. Cost me about $1/month to operate. Also had access to Dad's 43 HP Bugeyed Austin Headley Sprite. Wish we still had that car.
