Morgan Dollar...87-S VAM 2

    Aside from the bit of white on the cheek, what technical grade would you assign this Morgan dollar?

    What's it worth after a trip to NCS? Conservation is not inexpensive, but I really think they could help this one, and am trying to figure out if it would be worth the additional investment.

    according to the may 2009 issue of coin prices mag. (newest issue i have) 21.00 for VG-8 up to 29,500 for 65DMPL

    I think the corrosion kills this one....and it's a shame too. I'd have bet on this one coming back a 63.

    That spot on the cheek hurts it IMO too.
    I'll guess at MS-62 also but possible 63.

    That spot is some kind of white corrosion...from poor storage. I probably won't get MS-60 money for it.
