Morgan Cuds

I have this 1878 s morgan dollar (ms?) with a cud on the mintmark. I dont know anything error prices on Morgans. Is it worth anything?

at 9,744,000 1878-s lists about $45 - $100 in low to mid MS condition. I think 1878 in general was prone to many "vams" do to the newness of the minting of this die. Most only add a small increase to the cost at best. Are you big on the Morgans? I am trying to do the whole collection.

 

A cud is on the rim of a coin, nowhere else. That looks like damage on the MM to me. Or maybe a die chip and damage.......:goof:

I'm not big on Morgans, but they are growing on me.

 

A piece of the die breaks off and the coin is minted missing the details from the missing chuck.....check out these on eBay
